And so we're off. Last night we went to the Lobero to see The Moth. What a fantastic show! We listen to it every week and I often download podcasts to listen to later.
Lots of drama this morning. The cat knew something was up and wouldn't let us anywhere near her. She ignored treats. It took us about 45 minutes to catch her and get her into the carrier. It took both of us to get her in as she fought like a crazy person. Yikes, very traumatic for all of us.
The train was a treat and a surprise. I thought I booked a bedroom like we've had before but actually we got a family bedroom which could hold two adults and probably up to 5 kids. Very roomy! It also is the whole width of the train. Only thing is it doesn't have its own bathroom and shower. Still, it's on the lower level which has many fewer rooms and thus fewer people. Norm actually likes it better because of the extra room.
